After the school closures during the Covid-19 pandemic, the government have given some schools Covid catch up funding in order to help close the gap and make up for some of the lost learning that has taken place.
Although the funding is worked out on a per pupil basis, schools are free to use the funding however they feel will have the most impact and can target individuals or groups of children.
